The Bruceville-Eddy Mayfest Committee would like to invite you to participate in the 27th Annual Mayfest Parade on
May 8th, 2010. The parade will start at 9:00 am!
With great community support, last year's parade was a huge success. We had over 50 entries We had
cheerleaders, bands, twirlers, horses, fire trucks, tractors, baseball team floats and many more.
The Mayfest Parade will move out promptly at 9:00 am, If mechanical problems occur with any vehicle, that vehicle
should move to the right of the parade route if possible. The other parade participants will move around that vehicle
and continue. The parade director will make every attempt to place the repaired vehicle back into the parade at the
first available space. If a parade entry arrives late, the parade will move out without them.
We/I wish to participate in the Bruceville-Eddy Mayfest Parade. The individual(s) or organization identified below shall
as a condition of participation, indemnify and holds harmless the City of Bruceville-Eddy, the Bruceville-Eddy Fire
Department the Bruceville-Eddy EMS and the Bruceville-Eddy Mayfest Committee from all claims, suits, losses,
damages or expenses on account of the Bruceville-Eddy Mayfest Parade. Further the said individual(s) or
organization will defend on behalf of the City of Bruceville-Eddy, the Bruceville-Eddy Mayfest Committee, the
Bruceville-Eddy Fire Department and the Bruceville-Eddy EMS, all claims or suits for bodily injury or property damage
arising out of their participation in the Bruceville-Eddy Mayfest Parade.

The 27th ANNUAL BRUCEVILLE-EDDY MAYFEST PARADE ENTRY FORM

- All groups entered in the parade will load passengers into vehicles
near Taylor Hall
1) and vehicles not entered in the parade will not be allowed
into the staging area on Forth Street to deliver passengers.
- After groups are completely loaded in their vehicles they will
stage between Ausborn Street and Boarder Street. (2).
- Bands or Clubs that will be walking in the parade will be staged
between Border Street and Anna Hobbs Lane. (3).
- Tractors, ATV's and other motor vehicles will be staged on
Anna Hobbs Lane from Forth Street. (4).
- Horses and horse drawn wagons will stag on Anna Hobbs Lane
near FM 107. (5)
- Groups (Baseball teams, etc.) should unload their passengers
at the High School Parking Lot. (6).
- Other entries will be directed to their position by Parade
Officials.
- The parade will begin on FM 107 at Forth Street and end on
FM 107 at Eagle Drive. Entries will not be allowed to continue
straight on FM 107 at the end of the parade route.
- Slow moving vehicles or vehicles with passengers in an open
bed should not travel to or from the parade route using the
IH-35 service roads.
- ATV's, race cars, and other vehicles that are not normally
allowed to operate on public ways should not be operated after
the end of the parade.
